World's End

Ok, its been quite some time since I posted anything on here. I promise through the winter I will make sure that I keep this updated. We've been terribly busy with football practice, church, and just daily life. I'm hoping that tomorrow night I can get some pics posted of Jordan's football game, as well as some past pictures that I've taken of him. And, my sister, nephew and oldest son will be attending this game so I'm pretty excited that I should have some awesome pics to post.

SO, its fall! I love this time of year because its God's way of making it ok that the snow will be coming soon by giving us such beauty to see just prior to that nasty white stuff. Today we went to World's End out past Canton, PA. I haven't ever been there and neither had Bruce so I thought we'd check it out. Figured we'd get to see some beautiful country and a possible camping site for next summer. Sure enough, we lucked out.

The sign says it all. It is the Chapel for World's End State Park. How awesome to do this. When we originally drove past it, there was a couple getting married and what a beautiful day and spot to do that. If I had known this was there, perhaps we could have done that too...however, the day we got married (Feb. 15) I actually was home due to a snow day so I don't know that this would have been a great spot on that day...anywho....

This was a cool bridge. It was the bridge to cross to get to the town of Forksville. I was disappointed that my pictures didn't come out as well as I had hoped but there was no way to get a good shot without the sun glaring. But, its a nice bridge. Hard to find these anymore. Everything is made of metal :(

I love these old dirt roads. Pictures always make you wonder. "Where does it lead to?"

In this case, it leads here. Loyalsocks overlook. In my opinion, it didn't look much different than the photos I've taken at the PA Grand Canyon and Bruce pointed out the sea level is the same as it is at the Canyon 1,750 ft above Sea Level.

And of course, you have to have shots of trees for the fall season. And if you'll notice, not all of them have turned...so I still have time to head up to Colton Point next weekend :)

The drive home was beautiful. God Blessed Us with a great view for our evening drive.
Have a great day!
